Liberty students were excited to hear that Tuesday, April 7 they would be free from classes. However, many don’t know why school is out. Liberty is serving as a polling place for the upcoming St. Charles County election from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters from all across the area will come to the Liberty gymnasium to fill out their ballots.

But what decisions will residents be making in this election? The St. Charles County Election Authority has published a preview ballot for voters to learn about the propositions they will be voting on.

The following are propositions that will impact community members.

Our Goal

Your donation will support the student journalists of Liberty High School. For the 2025-26 school year, we are trying to purchase additional cameras and video equipment for our growing media program. We also plan to attend the national journalism conference in Orlando in November 2026.
