“I wanted to get pumped up for the theme day, for the football game, and I thought what better way to get my sunglasses and do some ukulele playing in the middle of school,” Brown said.

He has not played much during classes in order to respect teachers, but when he had the chance he would play a bit when teachers were okay with it.

Once it was lunch time, he jokingly set his ukulele bag on the ground as if it was a concert to collect tips, but instead students threw their trash and old food in his bag.

“I didn’t really appreciate that, I think that would have been better if change was the only thing i’ve gotten,” Brown said, laughing.

After the amount of attention the ukulele has gotten today, Brown plans on bringing it to the game to add more excitement and school spirit to the game.
