Ms. Shelton and her students have started a fundraiser to raise money for theater. The fundraiser started Thursday, Sept. 8th and it will end on Oct. 6th.

People have 28 days to donate money. They started the fundraiser because they don’t have much to work with when they are putting on plays. They don’t have many costumes, props, or lights.

“We are hoping to get enough money to buy new props, lights, costumes, and money for set food,” stated Ms. Shelton.

The students are promoting the fundraiser on social media to get more attention. To donate money you have to give your email address to Ms. Shelton. Ms. Shelton will then email you a link to a website where you can donate.

“Our goal is to get $4,000 by Oct. 6th but we already have $2,500 dollars and our fundraiser has been only been going for six days so I think we are eventually going to raise our goal,” stated Maria Hufford who promoted the fundraiser on Instagram.
