DECA had strong representation at the district competition where 13 participants qualified for the state meet.

DECA had multiple state qualifiers at the district competition on Feb. 6 at South County Mall.

“We had more district champions this year than we have ever had in the past,” DECA sponsor Mr. Barnes said.  “It was good to score that many first and second place trophies. This was also by far the most students we have ever had compete at districts.”

The state DECA conference will take place March 24-26 in Kansas City.  If any of the students qualify for Internationals after that, they will be going to Orlando, April 26-May 1.
