Your donation will support the student journalists of Liberty High School. For the 2025-26 school year, we are trying to purchase additional cameras and video equipment for our growing media program. We also plan to attend the national journalism conference in Orlando in November 2026.

Janelle Alvarez, Reporter
Janelle Alvarez is a sophomore who is originally from Texas. She moved to Missouri in December 2022. This is her first year in journalism and first full school year at Liberty. She is very creative and works hard. She is working as a lifeguard and does swim lessons. She loved spending time with friends and family. In the future she is hoping to pursue something in the medical field, or business.
Austin Koehnmann, Reporter
Austin Koehnemann is a sophomore and this is her first year in journalism. Austin loves spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoys shopping, traveling, reading, tumbling, and silks in her free time. Austin is outgoing and has a very bubbly personality. She’s not sure what her future looks like quite yet but she’s super excited for what’s to come!
