Your donation will support the student journalists of Liberty High School. For the 2025-26 school year, we are trying to purchase additional cameras and video equipment for our growing media program. We also plan to attend the national journalism conference in Orlando in November 2026.

Ella Quinney, Editor-in-Chief of The Ledger
Ella Quinney is a senior, this is her fourth year in Publications. Quinney is Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Ledger magazine, along with a reporter for the website. She can’t wait to work alongside her staff to produce the magazine, and work on the website this year. Outside of Publications, she is Key Club’s editor and a member of DECA. Quinney bakes, reads, and hangs out with her friends in her free time. She is looking forward to a great last year, in and out of the classroom.
Loukya Vaka, Copy Editor of The Ledger
Loukya Vaka is a senior, and this is her fourth year in Publications. Vaka is Copy Editor of the “Ledger” magazine, and this is her second year in this position. Outside of Journalism, Vaka is the president of Key Club, president of HOSA, treasurer of Books2Brand, and treasurer of NHS. She is also a part of LeaderinMe, Model UN, Students Demand Action, and Spanish Club. Vaka enjoys playing the piano and the flute, reading, listening to music, and spending time with her loved ones. In the future, she plans to study medicine and become a family doctor. She is excited to put out some amazing “Ledger” issues and for this amazing new year.
Anumitha Vaka, Editor-in-Chief of Clubs
Anumitha Vaka is the first publications editor-in-chief of clubs, and is currently a senior. Anumitha is also in her second year at SCC working towards an associate of arts: arts and sciences degree. Anumitha is in her third year of publications, and is currently a part of magazine being previously a part of online news and journalism having worked on many videos and stories in the past. Anumitha is also a member of Key Club cabinet, HOSA, and NHS. In her free time Anumitha loves to read, write, and watch tv. After high school, Anumitha hopes to go to a university for pre-med.
Avery Bowen, Graphic Design Editor
Avery Bowen is a senior and this is their second year in publications. She is also involved in drama club, working as a crew head for set, and Earth Club as the social media manager. Outside of school, Avery can usually be found quietly drawing in their room or taking a nap. When not hanging out in her room, Avery is outside in nature walking along her backyard creek and fishing. After high school they plan on studying wildlife biology at an out-of-state college.
