As Homecoming draws nearer and nearer, our excitement (and nerves) are both on full blast. Along with these emotions is the pressure from the decision for who you should vote for Homecoming King and Queen.
This year there are many amazing candidates to choose from, causing even more tension to build amongst the student body.
Your 2025 Homecoming court is:
Freshman: Jacob Craig and Sydney Shuster
Sophomores: Owen Francis and Sophie Bernth
Juniors: Cameron Davidson and Hannah Siciliano, Adalyn Vinyard and Noah Johnson
Seniors: Louis Stoyanov and Echo Brooke, Chandler Hirtz and Myleigh Turnipseed, Kylie Richardson and Tyler Smith
Amongst this list, freshmen and sophomores are not eligible for Homecoming court, but the list of candidates for junior and senior year are far more present rather than the two underclassmen couples.
Many of the couples are just happy to attend.
“I’m just happy that I even got on it,” Jacob Craig (9) said.
“I’m really happy that I got the chance to be on Homecoming court this year,” Sydney Shuster (9) said.
Many of the candidates also expressed their gratitude for the fact that they even got into the court.
The best promoters are Louis Stoyanov and Echo Brooke.
“We put posters everywhere,” Stoyanov reports. “We had a plan and it’s been really successful.”
Earlier in the week, Brooke and Stoyanov handed out CD’s and free donuts to promote themselves. Most other candidates haven’t established marketing around the school. Stoyanov and Brooke are the friend duo among the HoCo couples, showing they’re there to have fun in their last high school Homecoming.
The rest of the candidates are couples that are all grateful and happy to have fun while being on this year’s Homecoming Court.
The 2025 Homecoming winners will be announced at this week’s football game, which is also our homecoming game.
