Through hard work and campaigning,  juniors Marlee Doniff and Hunter Perkins won the 2018-19 StuCo election.

They will start the duties as officers in the upcoming school year. Doniff is StuCo President and Perkins is Vice President. As president and vice president, they will do various things throughout the school from planning school assemblies to homecoming.

“We want to improve school spirit and make Liberty a better place for everyone,” Perkins said.

They also plan to make sure that the student body is heard and make sure all of Liberty is involved in making decisions.

Candidates found out the results on Twitter Friday evening. Both Doniff and Perkins were ecstatic to hear the news that they won.

“I was so so excited, this is something that I have wanted and that I have been working towards for years so it was just super exciting seeing all my hard work pay off,” Doniff said.
