Abby Hurych had a unique experience on a family trip to Los Angeles, California this past summer. There she saw a movie being filmed.

Directed by Quentin Tarantino, the movie is called  “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” and will be out in theaters on July 26, 2019.

“It would be cool to see it when it comes in theatres because then I would be able to say OMG!!! We saw that being filmed,” Hurych said.

There are many big stars who will appear in the movie.

“Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Al Pacino, Margot Robbie and so many more actors and actresses,” Hurych said.

She saw the movie being filmed near the Hollywood Walk of Fame in downtown L.A.

“My family and I saw a bunch of old cars next to the sidewalks on the other side of where we were walking on saw a bunch of random people shooting with cars and were wondering what they were doing then we noticed someone say, ‘And action.’ That’s how we knew they were filming for a movie.”

Hurych knew that the movie was about the “Sharon Tate murders.” Tate was an actress who was murdered by members of the Charles Manson cult in 1969.

While Hurych didn’t meet any of the celebrities, she did take some pictures of them during a scene.  She watched them shoot a scene for one day.

“But we were there in more days to look around,” Hurych said.

So if you are plan on wanting to see the movie it will happen in July of next year.
