As we know, the Wentzville School District built six snow days into the school year calendar, during which students are free to enjoy a day off without worrying about adding another day onto the end of the year.

Due to a number of snow days accumulating through the month of February, there is one free snow day left to use. However, once we pass the sixth school day, all further days at home will be spent using virtual learning. The use of emergency virtual is like snow days in that it has a set number of days, extending to five. If we have used up all six built-in snow days as well as all five built-in virtual learning days, the district will begin building days onto the end of the year.

Emergency virtual days will be different from Level 3 Learning. It will follow the LHS bell schedule with a minimum of 35-40 minutes of teacher-to-student teaching. The emergency virtual days will also have no AI and will follow a regular schedule. This schedule will not impact those enrolled in Virtual Academy, who will adhere to their set virtual schedule.

The last day of school is scheduled for June 3. Seniors final day is May 21.
