It’s hard to say what will happen to the global superpower once Pluto does officially return home, to prepare financially make sure you have some money saved up.

People aren’t the only ones with birth charts. Movies, buildings and even countries can have a birth chart. We celebrate the United States’ birthday every year on the Fourth of July− but in February we will be celebrating the first return of Pluto.

Pluto, being the farthest celestial body from the sun, makes one full rotation around the sun every 248 years, meaning that most people don’t ever get to see Pluto’s return, but we do. Since Pluto does take a while to revolve around the sun, its effects can be felt before and well after the official return on Feb. 22. On July 4, 1776, Pluto was in Capricorn, and the last time Pluto re-entered Capricorn was in 2008 (remember the small stock market crash?).

The Roman Empire had experienced two Pluto returns. The first one saw two of its leaders being assassinated: Emperor Elagabalus, who was notorious for his religious controversies, sex scandals, and overall dishonorable behavior, and after him was Alexander Severus. Pluto returns have even seen the deaths of Stalin and Napoleon. To say the least, this isn’t going to be a pleasant time, but in the long run it’s going to be better for the United States.

Pluto will be reentering the second house, the house of money, work ethic, habits, priorities, and income. With the second house being ruled by Capricorn, this time is going to be focusing on integrity, hard work, and identity. Since Pluto represents the destruction and rebuilding of structures, it can be expected that the U.S. will experience money problems; we could see the minimum wage drop down again. This could be time for economic upheaval followed by social upheaval. Pluto won’t allow for the past to be forgotten. This is why in years leading up to this return, we’ve seen an increase in social rebellion.

Pluto isn’t the only factor in these troubling times. Pluto will be squaring Saturn, the planet of restrictions, realism, and bluntness. A square in astrology is when two planets are at a 90-degree angle and is definitely the most unpleasant transit. The events coming up will be hard to swallow, and to make it a bigger deal, Jupiter will conjunct Pluto. A conjunction is when two planets are close together, their energies merging. Jupiter is the planet of expansion and knowledge. Jupiter will be serving as a magnifying glass during this time. To top it all off, Pluto will be opposing chatty Mercury. Oppositions are two planets that can butt heads during this transit. This means there is going to be a lot of talk about the economy and past trauma. It’s very well the embodiment of the phrase “when it rains, it pours.”

Pluto will also be entering Aquarius at the end of 2024. It’s going to be the start of a new generation. Pluto, being in Aquarius, will act as a fixer after the Pluto return. Aquarius is the sign of humanitarianism. Aquarians are outside-the-box thinkers and like to play their part in bettering society, definitely displaying “power to the people” type of vibes. The tone might shift to a bit of rebelliousness but that’s for a later time.

It’s hard to say what will happen to the global superpower once Pluto does officially return home, to prepare financially make sure you have some money saved up. It’s a smart idea to not be holding the money bag when Pluto returns. Because the U.S. is a global superpower, it’s hard to say what the world is going to look like in the coming years the United States, but what can be assured is that the United States will take a turn.
