The St. Charles County Job Fair has many job openings and career opportunities. Liberty hosts the fair Thursday, March 30, from 5-8 p.m.

Liberty is hosting another job fair. And this time the job fair is bigger than the last one, having multiple districts participating including: Fort Zumwalt, Francis Howell and Wentzville.

This job fair is called the St. Charles County Job Fair and Career Expo and it will have plenty of job opportunities for you to apply to. Some of those include: Kona Ice, Shortleaf Brewing, Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck and The Academy of Pet Careers. Click to see a list of the vendors.

The job fair is Thursday, March 30, from 5-8 p.m. at Liberty. The goal of this event is to bring together industry partners from across St. Charles County to connect students with current and future career opportunities.

The job fair is actually hiring now and they are starting opportunities to earn employment within their organization. These opportunities can help students earn an income in addition to learning valuable employment skills.

Ms. Julie Durham, the Success Ready Content Leader in the Wentzville School District, encouraged people to attend the job fair.

“Students should attend the St. Charles County Job Fair and Career Expo to expand their knowledge base, learn skills for interviewing, and find current job openings,” Durham said. She also talked about how the job fair is for businesses looking to fill current openings including part-time and hourly wage openings.

— Durham

This is the second time this year LHS has hosted a job fair. The first job fair was on Dec. 1, 2022.

Durham also stated that the job fair is beneficial. There will be career tool coaching sessions in the library on the following: resume building, interviewing, professional dress and writing professional thank you notes.

“Students will learn about career pathways and potential opportunities post high school as well as apply for career job openings. The fair and expo will allow them to network, explore, and experience hands on learning to help them in the future.”

The job fair has been super good for kids to learn about job openings, career paths, etc.

This is the first time they will be having the St. Charles County Job Fair at Liberty High School.
