After scoring a touchdown and tying 27-27 against North Point High School on the final play of regulation, senior Hy Vuong revels with junior Riley Decaro and his teammates in the excitement of the moment. “This is Liberty, this is how we play,” Vuong said. This was the first home game of the season as well as the first time Liberty has played North Point on the home field.

Anna Simms is the editor-in-chief of LHStoday.org and this is her third year in publications. She is also in her senior year and second year at SCC. After high school, Anna plans on going to a university to study biomedical sciences, and later get a doctorate. She is also a part of Liberty’s drama club as an executive board member, and has done both acting and tech.
