Jumping into a middle split at the end of their dance routine, the Varsity Belles come to the end of their halftime performance at the final home football game of the season. For some dance members, this is their final time performing on the field. “Instead of being sad it was over, I tried to take in every last moment that I get to spend with my team,” senior Kaitlin Stumpf said. Liberty played against Fort Zumwalt South on Sept. 29 and would go on to defeat South by a score of 34-33.

Our Goal
Your donation will support the student journalists of Liberty High School. For the 2025-26 school year, we are trying to purchase additional cameras and video equipment for our growing media program. We also plan to attend the national journalism conference in Orlando in November 2026.

Anna Simms is the editor-in-chief of LHStoday.org and this is her third year in publications. She is also in her senior year and second year at SCC. After high school, Anna plans on going to a university to study biomedical sciences, and later get a doctorate. She is also a part of Liberty’s drama club as an executive board member, and has done both acting and tech. Outside of school, you can find Anna either taking photos, editing, hanging out with friends, listening to music, or reading!
