Anna Simms is the editor-in-chief of LHStoday.org and this is her third year in publications. She is also in her senior year and second year at SCC. After high school, Anna plans on going to a university to study biomedical sciences, and later get a doctorate. She is also a part of Liberty’s drama club as an executive board member, and has done both acting and tech. Outside of school, you can find Anna either taking photos, editing, hanging out with friends, listening to music, or reading!
Phoenix Egeler is in their third year of publications, in their junior year. They’ve written multiple articles and produced/edited multiple videos. They are one of the co-founders of the game show “Power Play.” They’re also a big horror movie and TV show fan. They love “Scream”, “The Black Phone”, and “American Horror Stories.” They can also play three instruments which include piano, clarinet, and flute. They’re also a big heavy metal and rock fan.
Landon Woodson is a senior and this is their second time being a part of the publications team here at Liberty. Outside of publications, he is also a part of theatre here at Liberty. They enjoy listening to music as well as playing music. Their favorite band is twenty one pilots and they love watching She-Ra and The Owl House. She plans to go to Mizzou for tech theatre.
Megan Geisler is a senior and this is her third year of publications. She is the sports editor for broadcast media and a reporter for LHS Today. She enjoys playing the trumpet and loves watching movies. Some of her favorite movies include “Mamma Mia” and anything Marvel. Outside of school you will often find her spending time outdoors hiking with her dogs or working at Chick-Fil-A.
Avery Bowen is a junior and this is their first year in publications. She is also involved in drama club working as a crew head for set. Outside of school, Avery can usually be found quietly drawing in their room or taking a nap. When not hanging out in her room, Avery is outside in nature walking along her backyard creek and fishing. After high school they plan on studying wildlife biology at an out-of-state college.
