Talent is everywhere–spanning choreographed dances, instrumental performances, original poetry, hilarious skits, and renditions of songs we all know and love. And, in a world that easily becomes monotonous, talent is a showcase that has its own kind of magic. Since its creation in 2017, the school’s annual talent show, organized by the school’s Key Club chapter, has been displaying the various talents of the school body.
Now, it’s only a matter of finding the stars of the show.
If you have a talent that you want to show the community, the talent show is an incredible opportunity to celebrate the talent that is around us, giving a voice to anyone who wants to share a part of their story with others. Any and all talents are welcome, and individuals can audition either as a solo or group act through an in-person or virtual audition.
“Record yourself performing any talent that you have and email your talents to Mr. Barker, or go to in-person auditions. We’ve had so many different acts over the years, so all acts are accepted,” Mr. Barker (staff), a co-sponsor of Key Club said.
In-person auditions take place in Room 337 on Nov. 24, and virtual auditions will be accepted until Nov. 24 as well. To sign up to audition for the talent show, fill out this form with information about your act by Nov. 23 at 11:59 p.m. To bring some more magic to the stage, consider auditioning with your special talent today.
