Tate McRae dazzled thousands of fans with her performance at the Enterprise Center on Oct. 11. Thousands people packed the arena, excited to see what the production would hold. McRae’s iconic dance breaks and powerful vocals left viewers stunned, wishing the concert would never end.
Tate McRae has become widely known throughout the world over the past few years. After gaining traction from her previous album, “THINK LATER,” her fanbase significantly grew. Due to her sudden increase in listeners, seats for her shows were limited. However, her phenomenal performance in St. Louis made the Ticketmaster battle worth it for her fans.
The Miss Possessive Tour is Tate McRae’s largest concert so far. The overall show was based off of her fast-paced music and intense choreography. Still, she was able to blend some of her original music into the setlist to connect with fans of different interests.
Some fans were able to get to spend time with McRae on a more personal level. The VIP ticketholders were able to watch soundcheck and talk to McRae before the show officially started.
“We went to the Q&A and we ended up being right in the front and center…we were shocked,” Hannah Siciliano (11) said.
The general concert started around 9:15 p.m. The introduction built up energy throughout the entire stadium. The rising tension before she began singing grasped the attention of fans, preparing them for the dynamic show to come.
“The adrenaline I got waiting for her to come onstage was insane,” Alexa Kiepe (12) said.
Throughout the show, the crowd’s energy continuously grew. Fans showed pure excitement every time a new song began, and many anticipated the performances of their favorite songs.
A fan favorite song recently is McRae’s new song, “TIT FOR TAT.” The song is rumoured to be about her ex-boyfriend, The Kid Laroi. It features an upbeat theme with compelling lyrics that seize the attention of fans everywhere.
“‘TIT FOR TAT’ was my favorite performance because it’s the only song I had never heard live before and it was really, really good,” Siciliano said.
The music and dance that the show was centered around proved to everyone that the money spent on this concert was well worth it. Combining this with McRae’s eccentric stage presence left the audience hooked.
“I would go back to see her a thousand times…She’s genuinely one of the best performers I’ve ever seen,” Kiepe said.
The captivating performance that McRae produced was like no other. Her unwavering confidence and the raw emotion she showed continues to leave a lasting impression on her fans; their admiration radiating all around . Through the Miss Possessive Tour, Tate McRae gained unyielding attention from new and old fans everywhere. Needless to say, this concert is one that will stick with McRae’s supporters forever.
