Your donation will support the student journalists of Liberty High School. For the 2025-26 school year, we are trying to purchase additional cameras and video equipment for our growing media program. We also plan to attend the national journalism conference in Orlando in November 2026.

Amina Beye, Reporter
Amina Beye is a junior and this is her second year in publications. Beye enjoys reading and writing in school, while at home she enjoys listening to music and creating art. Beye is currently in a number of clubs, her favorite being FBLA because she gets to push herself to her full potential. She is taking classes like AP Literature and eventually creative writing, along with Online News and Broadcast Media to explore careers in journalism. Along with that she wants to explore other careers having to do with art, music, and studying medicine outside of the United States. This school year Beye is looking forward to a great year in publications and achieving her personal goals.
August Deters, Reporter
August Deters is a sophomore, and he is in his first year in a journalism class. He enjoys the arts, spending his free time drawing. He has been in theatre for nearly four years, one of his favorite forms of expression. He has experience editing videos, and excels the most in writing and reading. He enjoys writing poetry about his life experiences. He loves to spend time with his cats and siblings.
Mason Molitor, Reporter
Mason Molitor is a senior, this is his second year in publications. Molitor is the play-by-play live stream sports broadcaster. He plays baseball with St. Peters Post 313 Legion Ball. This year he is extremely excited to finish his legacy in the program by creating the best videos and content possible. He enjoys watching sports, talking about sports, and exploring in the woods.
Emily Nguyen, Reporter
Emily Nguyen is a senior entering her first year of publications. This year, she is excited to try new things in the realm of broadcast media and beyond. Outside of journalism, she is active in the Model United Nations, Scholar Bowl, theatre, and senior class officer programs at Liberty. In her free time, she enjoys watching Robert Redford movies, reading books, painting, and keeping civically engaged. After high school, she wants to major in political science in college.
