Many people will buy cars to never drive them because of the value and legendary background they have. Whether it’s classic cars or other kinds of cars, Oliver Chambers (11) has found a lot of interest in street cars.
With Chambers’ interest in street cars, he has started going to many car shows, races, and events. Chambers has recently created a new instagram account with his first post on March 15, specifically aimed in taking pictures of street cars, but more than just street cars ranging from any kinds of cars that are there.
Chambers got into the car world with the help and love of his brother.
“Growing up together we would play need for speed,” Chambers said.
Chambers has been to many car events to this date ranging from different times of the day, with his first one being Cars and Coffee, in the morning of March 14. One event was in the city of St. Louis, and even has night meets at the Saint Louis Galleria which took place on April 4. These meets just go to show the significance of the car world and they can happen at any given time.
“Many of the car meets happen at the Galleria and World Wide Technology Raceway,” Chambers said.
There are many more kinds of cars consisting of sports cars, off road, convertibles, etc. For some people, classic cars are what they are into because they are more sedemental to them with the iconic background they have. And also some people enjoy the newer look with more advanced features and technology. Everyone into the car world has their own likes and dislikes but the one thing that everyone has in common is that all these cars are amazing cars in their own different ways.
Chambers has seen some amazing cars throughout his time.
“My favorite and most advanced car I’ve seen would be a McLaren,” Chambers said.
The evolution of cars is another thing that makes cars so special the designs and technology has changed and each year it gets better and more advanced. Along with that is the cultural impact, car culture has impacted society from then to now in many different positive ways and family as well. Maybe your dad has a certain car and he passed it down to you, or you continued the tradition and bought a new version of the same whip. The car world can also build personal connections and positive influence on you and many other people you meet at car meets, family, or maybe it’s just someone on the road stopped at a red light and you guys both have cars that mean something that are similar or completely different but are still great for the car world.
“The community is close to one another and everyone knows each other and how supportive everyone is no matter the different cars that they all own,” Chambers said.
This just goes to show how special people can be and should influence other people who might not be as spiritually gifted as these people. It just goes to show no matter the subject there is always positivity and uplifting spirits from all kinds of people.
