Students around LHS are getting excited about Halloween and fall.

The first official fall day started on Sept. 23 at 1:50 a.m. The weather is getting cooler and it rains more. It’s starting to get spooky. Fall is a season during which the days get shorter and temperatures start to drop. Some students gave their opinion about the month of Halloween.

We asked a few students some questions about fall including, “Do you like fall?,” “What are you doing in fall?,” and “Do you have any Halloween plans?”

A freshman, Madison Schultz said, “Yes, I do like fall because it’s not too hot and you can wear sweats and stuff.”

Fall is known for a nice breeze and cozy blanket weather. It reminds people of pumpkin patches and fall pictures and when the day ends you watch a nice calm movie with a pumpkin, and a fall blanket on you with a coffee in your hand. Schultz also said that during fall she likes camping.

“My plans are camping, campfires and hanging with friends,” Schultz said. For Halloween she said, “Probably just hanging with friends and family.”

A sophomore, Brett Hertzenberg said, “Yeah, I love fall, I rake leaves and jump in them.” For Halloween Hertzenberg said, “I want to be Spiderman with my whole family.”

Joey Smith, a senior, said he likes fall, because it’s hunting season. Fall is the breeding season, so the animals are more active and easier to find. For Halloween, Smith says he’s “probably just going to a party.”

These are just a few of the many students who are excited about fall and already have some plans and even for Halloween.
