Summary:
“Madea’s Destination Wedding” is another hit in the Madea series. This movie is about a wedding with Brian’s daughter, Tiffany (Diamond White) and her soon-to-be-husband Zavier (Xavier Small). Tiffany’s mother Debrah (Taja V. Simpson) is rushing her daughter to get married, and Brian does not seem to like that, so he asks for advice from his aunt Madea (Tyler Perry), and his father Joe Simmons (Tyler Perry). Madea and her gang find it very suspicious, and start questioning the family members. Brian (Tyler Perry), who is paying for this whole trip out of ego, is “paying the price.” Joe is only making it worse by gambling off of Brian’s card. Brian is unaware of these activities. Madea continues to investigate claims made by Joe (Tyler Perry), Cora (Tamela Mann) and Bam (Cassi Davis). These claims are soon proved at the end by the movie, watch to find out!
Yathi’s Opinion: This movie is great, but a few things could be improved. The cast was very good as always, and the cast is pretty/handsome. I think the plot got a bit dry towards the end. The jokes were immaculately done, near the end where we find out the real reason behind the wedding, that’s where some of the tension picked up, and it was very interesting. Aside from the plot, the hotel they chose to shoot the movie was very beautiful, and I honestly want to go there. I would recommend watching the first few movies, so you kind of get a feel for the jokes, and plot that Tyler Perry goes for.
Jourdin’s Opinion: The movie was very eye-catching, but it also got very boring. It was a struggle to keep me interested, the more I watched . But it did a great job catching my attention in the beginning. I would recommend watching this,if you just have extra free time. Other than the loss of interest towards the end, I found this movie very good, the humor was very good. And overall a great movie.
Conclusion:
**** out of 5 stars
