Four years can fly by in a flash for a lot of seniors in high school. Some look back and reminisce about their past, but people like Davis Mueth are ready to take a swing at his future and move into the unknown. Mueth plans to attend Metropolitan Community College in Kansas City to continue playing baseball.
Baseball has been a major part of Muethās life since he was 4 years old. He credited his success to his strong faith, always giving him the confidence to push forward.
Throughout his high school career, Mueth said the best thing he learned was communication. He stated how communication can help in all aspects of life especially with family, friends, teammates. Mueth believes that the teachers here at Liberty truly did give him the best education, and how Mr. Nelson and all of the staff show they care for their students.
Setbacks will attack you at all stages in life and Mueth is not a stranger to it. Muethās first two years of high school were his hardest because of challenges with baseball and school. But he preserved by seeing his setbacks as hurdles he had to overcome to become the best possible person he can.
Even without baseball, Mueth more than anything wants to be the guy whoāll be remembered for always being kind and doing the right thing for himself and others. When asked what advice heād give to incoming freshmen or students who are worried about the next four years he responded with: āTake one day at a time, relax a little after each step.āĀ
