Samuel Uelk has been a loyal video gamer throughout his high school years. Uelk typically plays fantasy games, a few of his favorites being Destiny-2 and Apex Legends. His most recent favorite is Apex Legends, a Medieval themed role-playing game with sci-fi components.
Video games have had a major influence in Uelk’s life, providing him with social and creative outlets.
“Honestly, they’ve helped me creatively and socially,” Uelk said. “I have a lot of online friends, and the games help my imagination.”
Living in the state of Missouri–or rather America, a culture of sports is a component of the majority of the student body. And while Uelk played a variety of sports when he was younger, and most recently played on the tennis team last year. He considers the world of video games to be far more valuable to his high school career.
