When asked what motivates him, Jimi Morris explains that he is driven by being able to prove others wrong. Morris explains how it gives him a sense of self confidence and provides him with a powerful sense of accomplishment.
“I like the feeling of accomplishment,” Morris said. “Whenever I look at somebody and they are just like (wow), he was right.”
Morris talks about how he was able to prove his grandmother wrong in the academic field. She thought he wouldn’t do the best in school, but Morris prevailed and proved her wrong. He has been doing great in school. That feeling of accomplishment and confidence gives him the ability to get through many challenges and motivate him to not give up. Being able to show others wrong rather than trying to convince them gives most everyone the internal validation and self-confidence they need.
