Within the past couple of years, TikTok has become a place where musical artists can show off their creations and gain popularity quickly. Artists such as Tate McRae and JVKE are examples of these TikTok successes, as they have earned millions of followers and monthly streams.
“EPIC: The Troy Saga” is a musical EP (Extended Play) album from Jorge Rivera-Herrans. This album contains five songs telling the story of Odysseus’ journey over the span of 20 years as he returns to his home back in Ithaca. During the expedition, he faces multiple obstacles including elements, monsters, and the Gods.
The album was first released on streaming platforms on Dec. 25, 2022, and within the first week, it reached more than 3 million streams.
According to BroadwayWorld, this album is the first of nine albums, with the next one released on Jan. 23, 2023. This new album will be “EPIC: The Cyclops Saga” and is a continuation of the story from the previous album.
