Our Goal
Your donation will support the student journalists of Liberty High School. For the 2025-26 school year, we are trying to purchase additional cameras and video equipment for our growing media program. We also plan to attend the national journalism conference in Orlando in November 2026.

Lily Nelson, Reporter
Lily Nelson is a senior and this is her first time in a publications class. She is an athlete and it is her fourth year playing volleyball at Liberty and she is participating in track for the second year this spring. She had just moved to the school district freshman year. She went to a private school from first to third grade. Then after she attended the Francis Howell School District for five years, her parents wanted to move over to O’Fallon. She is currently employed at Top Golf as a food runner after taking a break from her job of almost three years at Sugarfire.
Mitchell Luker, Reporter
Mitchell Luker is a senior who has attended a school in the Wentzville School District for most of his life. Most people are surprised to learn he has a twin sister. He is currently employed at Red Robin as host and busser. He enjoys most things tech or car related. Saint Charles Community College is his next destination after high school.
Lilly Brown, Editor-in-Chief of The Talon
Lilly Brown is a senior, and is the editor-in-chief of the Talon yearbook as well as the social media manager for LHS Publications. This is her third year in publications and her second year as an editor. Lilly is also a part of girls swim, NHS, and Link Crew. Lilly also works at the Renaud outside of school as a gym attendant and front desk worker. In her free time she enjoys going to the gym, reading, puzzling, and playing Sims. Lilly plans on attending State Technical College of Missouri and pursuing a Digital Marketing degree after graduation.
