Teacher appreciation week was a great start to May. Every teacher has a story and every teacher has struggles they go through alone and out loud. But they all also have accomplishments, and like most people, they don’t always get appreciated for everything they do. It is nice to highlight some things we appreciate our staff for. 

All LHS teachers got a huge shout out for all their hard work they put into each day. Each hour teachers were chosen at random and announced to come down to the Student Center to choose a gift. 

There were so many prizes, including gift cards ranging from Starbucks to restaurants to fast foods.

Other prizes like a fancy crimper, games like corn hole, horseshoes, and pickleball paddles. There were also other cool appliances like suitcases, Liberty gear, Stanleys, and kitchen supplies.

All teachers deserve appreciation and should feel really proud and accomplished from all their hard work. But I would like to personally recognize Mrs. Meuser, Mr. Hall, Mrs. Holman, and Mr. Tutterrow for being such amazing teachers to their students and really showing that they care and that they are all always trying to help us truly succeed in their classes. Thank you to the teachers that turley care about their students and want them to succeed.
