Are you scared? Because we’re terrified. In our “pilot” episode titled “Are You Scared?” we discussed a multitude of topics in a brief amount of time. Listen while you study, work, or even just while you’re relaxing. Sometimes navigating teenage life feels too serious so we made a calm, sometimes funny, podcast for Liberty students. A pod episode is updated bi-weekly or sometimes weekly when Delainey and Emma feel like it. Every week we have reoccurring topics like Trend of the Week, where our personas will tell you what popular things we enjoyed the most, Movie Review, which speaks for itself, and each week we have personas we embody when we want to. So sit back and take a break while we tell you why we are terrified.

Our Goal

Your donation will support the student journalists of Liberty High School. For the 2025-26 school year, we are trying to purchase additional cameras and video equipment for our growing media program. We also plan to attend the national journalism conference in Orlando in November 2026.

Delainey Gastreich, Reporter
Delainey Gastreich is in her freshman year and in her first year of LHS Publications. She likes to write, critique cinema, and listen to every genre of music besides modern country. In her free time she studies a variety of topics she enjoys, spanning from “Star Wars” lore all the way to Psychology. Gastreich has a dream career of being a journalist and traveling the world. You can almost always catch her doing Word Finds, watching movies, or doodling in her notebooks.
Emma Huff
Emma Huff, Reporter
Emma Huff is a freshman, and this is her first year of Journalism. Huff is a published poet at age 15. She hasn’t completed anything like publications in past years, but she’s very excited to start interviewing and taking photos. Outside of school, Huff has been a dancer for 12 years, earning a collection of medals for ballet and tap. In the past, Huff had done four years of Korean TaeKwonDo, earning herself a blackbelt, a medal, and two trophies. Emma Huff is really excited to be here at Liberty High this year.
