Join your hosts, Amina Beye and Payton Unnerstall, for the first episode of “Two Sides of the Story”! A podcast hosted by two juniors in high school where we discuss controversial topics or struggles within high school life. In this episode we discuss the teenager’s perspective on parents of teenagers not letting us out late, specifically to parties. Your donation will support the student journalists of Liberty High School. For the 2025-26 school year, we are trying to purchase additional cameras and video equipment for our growing media program. We also plan to attend the national journalism conference in Orlando in November 2026.

Amina Beye, Reporter
Amina Beye is a junior and this is her second year in publications. Beye enjoys reading and writing in school, while at home she enjoys listening to music and creating art. Beye is currently in a number of clubs, her favorite being FBLA because she gets to push herself to her full potential. She is taking classes like AP Literature and eventually creative writing, along with Online News and Broadcast Media to explore careers in journalism. Along with that she wants to explore other careers having to do with art, music, and studying medicine outside of the United States. This school year Beye is looking forward to a great year in publications and achieving her personal goals.
Payton Unnerstall, Reporter
Payton Unnerstall is a junior, this is her third year in publication and second year in yearbook. Unnerstall’s favorite part of yearbook is getting to go out and interview the students. Being a part of publications has helped Unnerstall be more outgoing. Outside of Publications, Unnerstall is a huge music lover, always listening to music. Some of her favorite artists include Radiohead and Jeff Buckley. Unnerstall also plays the electric and acoustic guitar, but finds acoustic more fun.
