German Club ate cookies, drank apple cider, painted pumpkins and even decorated Mr. Stoll’s classroom with Halloween decor at their meeting on Oct. 2.

“German club is so fun, everyone is really comfortable around each other,” freshman Emily Pisell said. “We’re painting pumpkins today; they’re all really cool. I saw one that was really creepy, it looked like the Black Plague.”

Students were having fun and forming bonds between each other. They were painting pumpkins to look like Jack the Pumpkin King, landscapes and rainbows. Some students took their pumpkins home, others kept theirs in the classroom.

“I really enjoy how kids will take a blank canvas or pumpkin and put their personality and creativity into it and the classroom,” German club sponsor Mr. Stoll said.

German Club is a place to create and share your ideas, art and opinions.

Earlier this fall, German club has grilled bratwurst and hot dogs while socializing with each other outside.

German club meets the first Tuesday of every month, the next meeting is held on Nov. 6.
