“Anyone But You” was released a couple months ago, here is one review of it.

The combination of romantic and comedy anyone but you is a great movie to watch around the time of Valentine’s Day. It came out on Dec. 22, 2023.

The main characters Bea and Ben have a connection the first time they see each other, but their first date but that quickly turns into a disaster. A few weeks later they are invited to the same destination wedding to Sydney, Australia. They don’t want to be there together and are just fighting. But then they pretend to be a couple that’s completely in love. Is it just going to be fake or can they get real feelings after all the things that happened?

The popular actor Sydney Sweeney plays Bea, she is also known from the show “Euphoria” and “Madame Web.” The American Actor Glen Powell is playing Ben. He has also been in “Top Gun,” “Set it Up,” and “Devotion.” Some other actors are Alexandra Shipp, Mia Artemis, and Nat Buchanan.

“Anyone But You” is slightly based on the play “Much Ado About Nothing” by William Shakespeare. Sometimes they show some quotations in the background or they have something integrated in their dialogues.

I liked the movie a lot and we could laugh at some scenes of it. It’s definitely a recommendation for people who like romances. The scenery was really pretty because most of it took place in a pretty suburb at the beach in Sydney.

The movie was entertaining and every minute was worth it and not boring. It’s an hour and 43 minutes long.

One thing I would say is that the ending could be a little bit obvious.

But besides that, it is a loving movie and I would give it a 4 ½ out of 5 stars. I would definitely watch it again sometime and recommend it to everyone who likes comedic romance movies.

What was your favorite movie you have watched this year? Or have you even watched “Anyone But You?”
