To be a member of a broadcast team, one has to be able to adapt to constant change. And with a strive to always grow, Will Nolan is no stranger to facing a challenge when it comes his way.
Deciding to dip his feet into the world of publications after a friend recommended the class, he would join the publications program in his junior year; And it’s fair to say that he has never looked back on this decision. Within the two years in the program, Nolan has become the editor-in-chief of broadcast and helped build a community of friends, who at one point were complete strangers to him.
“My dad’s mindset when he was growing up is that there was always something or some way you could get better; and I fed off of that,” Nolan said.
This shows through his ambition to make broadcast media better than it was before, as he takes things as they come each day. As new problems appear, the one thing that Nolan has always struggled to combat is the technology aspect; but he tries his hardest to not let it affect him as he persists through and work’s around the issues.
After he’s graduated, Nolan wants the people he worked with to remember him as being kind and helpful. And as someone who always takes on a problem with a solution in mind, there’s no doubt that when thinking back on his character, that people will remember him as such.
