“Euphoria” is a show that has a more realistic view on high school, which is why it’s such a popular show. Kids don’t like seeing what the older generations “think they’re like.” They want to see a more accurate perception.
The show is presented from Rue’s point of view. She is known as more of an unreliable narrator due to her struggle with sobriety. The show grapples topics like drugs, smoking, parties, intimate lives, home lives, and struggle in high school friendships. As most of us know, the show is coming out with a new season on April 25 and many fans are excited. For a quick brief, the new season is them out of high school – assumably not too many years ahead.
The first wonder for many of the show’s fans is, will Rue be sober?
Kaylee Eagler (10) believes that Rue will not be sober. She states Rue will be all over the place with no plan or wishes to get clean.
Madison Brannan (10) hopes Rue will be sober, but evidently expects it to go south due to Rue’s previous actions.
“Rue, sober? Oh God absolutely not,” Coach Franklin states.
As you can see, many expect Rue to still be using, the reasoning being her repeated relapses even when she goes a good while clean.
Colton Sayre (9) and Kendall Homar (9) both agree that Nate and Cassie will not be lasting. Homar believes that Nate will impregnate Cassie, and the leave her after causing Cassie to most likely get an abortion like in previous seasons when her ex-boyfriend got her pregnant while she was still in high school.
Brennan agrees with the factor of Nate and Cassie coming to an end as she stated they would fight, and break up. Speaking of break ups, remember Jules and Rue? Well, some people are wanting them to get back together, while others hope they just go along as friends.

Some people like Valentina Pellegrino (9) believe that something bad will happen to Maddie.
“She kinda has plot armor, but I think this is the season that it will happen,” Pellegrino states. Brennan believes her and Cassie will make up, and be friends again, while everyone else seems to believe it wont happen. Brennan also states that she believes Maddie will mature even more than she already had in previous seasons.
A tough situation to handle would be the actor of Fezco, and the actor of Nate’s father both dying. Many hope to see a dedication in memory of the two remarkable actors. How will they handle the death of them in the show? Many believe that they will kill off Fezco.
“In honor of Fezco, I think that there will be a big fight between the part of the world he was in, and someone will probably die,” Pellegrino states. If they do kill off Fezco, what will happen to Ashtray? Well, Arianna Gomez (9) believes that Ashtray will have a big character redemption of which he will go through counseling, and hopefully be able to find peace.
In the trailer, a Berlest house is shown, Pellegrino believes the FBI will be called on the Berlest house. Rue and Maddie are shown at the place in the trailer-this could connect to whatever people assume will happen to Maddie. Rue also happens to be in debt to her drug lord still.
