Alli Moorman rounds third base sprinting to home plate to gain the Eagles with another run.

The time limit expired at the bottom of the sixth inning leaving the umpires no choice but to not go into the seventh and to call the end of the game. Timberland took the win with the score of 7-6 on Sept. 11.

“I think we were very flat to start the game and couldn’t dig ourselves out of the hole,” varsity softball head coach Tom Anderson said.

The JV team has six wins so far and this was the second time they have lost a game this season. After the tough loss,  Timberland’s team, Coach Anderson said, “We’ll be ready next time.”

Alli Moorman (outfielder) said after the game. ”Our team should’ve played better together as a family. We need to do our best and stay confident.”
