From the moment Cody Zhang saw Marvel’s Endgame in theatres, he knew he wanted to be something in entertainment. 

Zhang grew up in California but moved to four other states due to his dad’s job. Zhang’s dad had a job in college doing special effects, he did some on Power Rangers. “Seeing my dad’s company and what he does definitely had an influence on me. I knew I wanted to be something in the entertainment industry,” Zhang said. 

Whenever Cody Zhang has free time, he likes to write about his movie that he is making. “I have over 150 sticky notes on my wall of the first draft of my book,” Zhang said. This love for books isn’t just a new thing. As far as Zhang can remember, he has had a deep passion for stories, whether that be in the form of books or the movies. “I would watch movies and get super into it and try and predict what would happen,” Zhang said. Since then Zhang has a plan to finish the book by 18 and get signed to a company.
