After beating Webster Groves High School 3-1, Liberty was 2-0-0 in the Wickenheiser Cup Playoffs going into the third game on Monday against Parkway West at the St. Peters Rec-Plex.
Neither team could score with the game ending in a 0-0 tie. With no goals scored, there were only penalties handed out. No penalties were given in the first period, though it was still a hard-fought period from both teams.

In the Wickenheiser Cup, there were four Pools to start the playoffs with four teams each. The top two teams from each Pool after all games were played move on to the next round of playoffs.

Liberty ended in 1st place in Pool C of the first round, helping them move on to the quarterfinal games. Liberty is set to play Lindbergh High School in the next round of playoffs. They are set to play at St. Peters Rec Plex South at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, and at Maryville University Hockey Center at 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 18.
These game will be played in a similar style to how the Founders Cup Playoffs were played last year. The teams will play two games against each other, the top team moving on to the next round. If there is a tie in points after both games, the teams will play a 10-minute mini game against each other after the second game.
The top team is determined by the amount of points each team has at the end of each round. Winning a game gets the team two points, tying a game gets both teams one point, and losing the game gets the team zero points. The teams will play the 10-minute mini game if the points are tied at the end of the second game.
This format is used for both the quarter and semifinal rounds of the playoffs. The final is played in just one, winner takes all game.

Three Stars of the Game:

2nd – Caleb Hudson; 19 saves

| Score/Period | 1 | 2 | 3 | Final |
