For so many people, getting into the medical field feels like an impossible task. Many are scared to try. Not Emma Weisser, she is determined to make it. Weisser wants to go to Missouri State to eventually become an ultrasound tech.
She hopes to bring positivity and happiness to many, just as her parents did for her. Weisser describes her childhood as a great one, filled with love and warmth. She believes it has shaped her in many ways. One of which is her love of people and interaction. In fact, she wants to live in New York for that exact reason.
“It’s very busy, and go-go-go, which I really like,” Weisser said.
She enjoys being with loved ones, including her dogs, Pete, Harley, and Willow. With her dogs, she loves being active on walks, hikes, and soccer, a sport she’s played since she was 7. Weisser loves the competitiveness and teamwork that are essential in soccer, though she was very sad to say she isn’t continuing the sport into adulthood. She knows that studying will fill most of her time.
Her biggest challenge currently is studying for the CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) test, and she’s working hard to finish high school strong. Funny and intelligent, Weisser will surely continue to brighten every room she’s in.
