Cannon Nord thanks his parents everyday for where he is now. They impacted him the most allowing him to grow up with the right mind set, shaping him into the person he is today. They taught him that respect and mindfulness are important character traits to have. The lessons he has learned from them come in handy when he is conquering a goal in his life.
“Success is when you make a goal for yourself and your able to achieve that goal,” Nord said.
One goal Nord had was to get on to an advanced club soccer team. Originally, he did not think he would make the team, but he did. The lessons his parents taught him, his confidence, and his encouraged spirit are what kept him fighting for his position on the team.
