Religion is very important for Liam Lofton. He loves Jesus. Lofton did not always believe in God or Jesus, but in 7th grade, he changed everything.
In Lofton’s neighborhood there is a big cliff that is very dangerous. Lofton was stuck at the bottom of the cliff and was very scared.
“It came into my head to pray. I’d never prayed before, but I thought to try it, and I did, and I got out immediately,” Lofton said.
Religion is a big part of Lofton’s life and he hopes that God can get him through anything. He believes that the way to succeed in life is to do the will of God and to live for Jesus. Jesus has motivated him to do anything he can, such as writing movies.
Lofton has found a passion in screenwriting movies and plans to make his own someday. Lofton discovered his passion last year and is currently working on a story. He has already written around 120 pages of his script.
Lofton is planning on going to SCC for two years, and Lindenwood for the other two. He will be majoring in cinema arts. Lofton hopes to finish his current project and send it to agents in order to, hopefully, get it made into a movie.
