This year introduced a few new events such as Women’s Doubles Luge, Ski Mountaineering, Skeleton Mixed Team, Dual Moguls for both men and women, Alpine Skiing Team Combined, and Women’s Large Hill Individual for Ski Jump. These Olympics also featured some incredible athletes such as Johannes Høsflot Klæbo from Norway who achieved an astonishing six gold medals to help Norway win the Olympics. U.S dominated the freestyle competitions, the Netherlands won nearly all their medals in speed skating, and the Germans dominated the twists and turns of the track.
